Success?

The concert was a week ago. It was great! Maybe a little scary... okay, very scary. But it was real cool.

The concert hall was real cold, like really really cold. But the waiting rooms behind were hot. Not just hot, but hot and stuffy.

Just before the concert, I had a nervous breakdown. I guess I'm just have very severe stage fright. My seniors and friends really helped. To you, THANK YOU! Happy I managed to get on stage and personally, I'm glad I did. The whole thing was great. All three pieces were really nice. I'm really glad I could join this concert, I really learnt a lot of stuff, and the experience was superb. Not to mention I'll probably need it for next year's composition.

During the Alumni Band performance, I was standing backstage and I just wanted to applaud them. It was amazing! Seventh Night and Scoutin', really marvelous. Not to mention they didn't have any stage practice beforehand. 4 and 6 pages, they were long, but really enjoyable to listen to.

You'd probably figure that I've lot of countdowns. Actually countdowns rock, because they give you something to look forward to. So this time, my countdown's to another oversea trip!

HK here we come!

Countdown 2!!!

9 Daylights More

Countdown 9!

Just nine more days, as so sated on my page, until the Arise, Shine! concert. It's the most time consuming, most silly yet most looked forward to concert! My one and only concert and it's coming in less than 10 days!

Which also means that the practices in school will be increasing. Not only in number but also in length. On the 9th we have a 9h practice and on the 10th itself, a 12h day! yep, it's going crazy around here, and somewhat tiring. But if we pull this thing off to a success, I think I'd be okay. Then there's that SYF competition next year. *sigh*, I don't suppose it'll ever stop. One year concert one year competition, oh well, there's just a year left anyways. Endurance is the key.

Speaking of Endurance it appears my class had more than a great time up at taman negara camp the week before last. They kept talking about it and oh how I wish I could be there! But it's over now, I'd just have to work that much harder at getting to where they are now. A un-help-able challenge I suppose...

The holidays started last week, and I've been doing quite a bit of homework since. It really isn't much of a holiday, until recently since I've slackened when it comes to work work. Just a week's gone by and it seemed so fast. I suppose holidays are all like that, passing as quickly as it can so the school days start again. Of course besides test and exams, school isn't all that bad. Actually, for once, I'm enjoying school a little. BUT, there are still parts of it that make it quite irritating at times.

Oh boy, no more time for crapping, gotta get back to work. Have exam papers to write, ya it's stupid, we have to create 3 exam papers for our english holiday assignment, I think the teachers are running out of ideas man...
